When I first learned about self-care it was all about time to do things I didn’t have time to do while working or raising my kids. And I loved that time! It was wonderful to have a chance to do the things I never had time to do.
But when that moment was over, it didn’t really do anything for me. It didn’t sustain me through my busy days and those periodic sleep-deprived nights.
Over the years I’ve learned what real self-care is and how much it can impact my daily life. And my clients experienced the same thing when I carried that knowledge into my coaching.
